Navi Mumbai News: Kharghar To Host 'Tiranga Yatra' On May 18 To Honour Indian Armed Forces Under ‘Operation Sindoor’ Banner
In a show of solidarity and to honor the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces, a grand “Tiranga Yatra” (Tricolor Rally) will be held in Kharghar on Saturday, May 18, 2025. The event, organized under the banner of “Operation Sindoor,” is being spearheaded by the local Hindu community of Kharghar.

Navi Mumbai: In a show of solidarity and to honor the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces, a grand “Tiranga Yatra” (Tricolor Rally) will be held in Kharghar on Saturday, May 18, 2025. The event, organized under the banner of “Operation Sindoor,” is being spearheaded by the local Hindu community of Kharghar.
The rally will commence at 5:00 PM from Shilp Chowk, Sector-20, and will traverse several key areas in the city including Sector 21, Daily Bazaar, the BJP office, Chereba Mandir, Shani Mandir, Navrang Chowk, Khargharcha Raja, and Shivaji Maharaj Chowk, before culminating at Sector 12 Ground.
Organizers say the yatra is not only a patriotic celebration but also a public expression of respect for the sacrifices made by the Indian Army. The event is expected to witness participation from hundreds of residents, many of whom will carry the national flag and chant slogans in support of national unity and defense forces.
