The BJP Cultural Festival going at the Gavdevi Ground in Sector 12, Kharghar showcases Maharashtra's rich cultural traditions, history, and culinary diversity. The festival will be held from May 1 to May 4.
The first event of the festival, 'Maharashtra’s Grand Culture,' featured a performance by 90 artists, offering a spectacular presentation of Maharashtra’s diverse cultural heritage and a grand depiction of the Shivrajyabhishek ceremony.
Over the course of the festival, attendees can look forward to a range of cultural performances and events. On Friday, May 2, at 6 PM, various institutions from the Kharghar and Panvel areas showcased their artistic talents. Saturday, May 3, will feature a musical evening with renowned singers Mugdha Vaishampayan and Prathamesh Laghate at 6 PM. The final event on Sunday, May 4, will be a thrilling group dance competition.
In addition to the cultural programs, the festival will also offer a Missal Mahotsav, running every evening from 5 PM to 10 PM. The Missal Mahotsav will feature stalls offering a variety of missals from Kolhapur, Satara, Vanhadi, Nashik, Mumbai, and Pune, allowing visitors to experience the distinct flavors of Maharashtra. For history enthusiasts, there will be a grand exhibition of historical weapons from the Shivaji era, showcasing the state's rich history and martial traditions.
The BJP Cultural Festival is set to be a celebration of Maharashtra’s vibrant culture, art, and culinary heritage, offering something for everyone in the community to enjoy.
