Navi Mumbai Accident: 37-Year-Old Biker Dies After Speeding Trailer Rams Into His Motorcycle At Jasai Naka; Driver Arrested
A motorcyclist died in an accident that occurred at Jasai Naka on Monday night after a speeding trailer rammed into his motorcycle from behind. Uran Police have registered a case against the trailer driver and taken him into custody.

Navi Mumbai: A motorcyclist died in an accident that occurred at Jasai Naka on Monday night after a speeding trailer rammed into his motorcycle from behind. Uran Police have registered a case against the trailer driver and taken him into custody.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Irshad Yamin Mansuri (37), a resident of Ranjanpada in Uran. Around 11.30pm on Monday, Mansuri was on his way home on his motorcycle when a speeding trailer hit his bike from behind in front of Jasai Naka.
Irshad sustained severe injuries in the accident and succumbed to them shortly thereafter. The Uran Police have booked the trailer driver responsible for the accident and taken him into custody.

"The deceased was a mechanic who worked in Uran and was going back home after work when the accident happened. Prima facie, the negligence is on the trailer driver's side. However, the deceased too was not wearing helmet and he died of head injuries," senior police inspector Jitendra Misal from Uran police station said.
