Navi Mumbai Accident: 21-Year-Old Dies In Motorcycle Crash While Transporting Blood Samples From Panvel To Ulwe
The victim identified as Virpal Narayan Girase, originally from Parola Taluka, Jalgaon, was residing with his relatives in Panvel and worked at Phoenix Hospital in Ulwe.

A 21-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident near Navi Mumbai Airport early Tuesday morning while transporting blood samples from Panvel to Ulwe. The Ulwe police have registered a case against the deceased, holding him responsible for the accident due to negligent riding.
The victim identified as Virpal Narayan Girase, originally from Parola Taluka, Jalgaon, was residing with his relatives in Panvel and worked at Phoenix Hospital in Ulwe. He had travelled to Panvel on Monday night to collect blood samples and was returning to Ulwe around 3 AM on his motorcycle when he lost control near the Waghivli village–Ambuja Cement Company road. His bike veered into a ditch, causing fatal injuries.
“In the investigations we found that Girase’s excessive speed and lack of control led to the accident. Hence we registered a case against him for reckless driving resulting in his own death,” a police officer from Ulwe police station said.
