Mumbai Water Alert: Low Pressure Supply In Andheri, Jogeshwari & Vile Parle East From June 22–28 Due To Metro 7A Tunnel Work
Due to Metro 7A project works, water will be supplied at low pressure in parts of K East ward (Andheri, Jogeshwari, Vile Parle East) next week, starting from the evening of Sunday, June 22. The normal water pressure will resume on Saturday, June 28.

Mumbai: Due to Metro 7A project works, water will be supplied at low pressure in parts of K East ward (Andheri, Jogeshwari, Vile Parle East) next week, starting from the evening of Sunday, June 22. The normal water pressure will resume on Saturday, June 28.
The MMRDA will be excavating under the operational 1800 mm diameter corporation canal of Veravali Reservoir near Bamanwada Andheri East using a tunnel boring machine. The said excavation will be carried out from Sunday, June 22 to Saturday, June 28 from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm and from 9.30 pm to 3.30.

Due to the work, the areas where water will be supplied at low pressure in includes: Vile Parle East - Low pressure water supply between 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm. Old Nagardas Marg, New Nagardas Marg, Mograpada, Andheri-Kurla Road (Andheri Station to Western Express Road) - Low pressure water supply between 8.00 pm and 9.30 pm.
The Municipal Corporation has appealed residents of these areas to store sufficient water and use water sparingly in the affected period.
