Mumbai: Undertrial Accused Imran Khan Allegedly Threatens MNS Leader Amit Matkar From Arthur Road Jail, 2 Contables Suspended; Video Viral
Police constables Amol Sarkale and Sandeep Suryawanshi have been immediately suspended in connection with the recent security breach involving undertrial Imran Khan, who allegedly threatened MNS Kamgar Sena Vice President Amit Matkar while on a court visit.

Mumbai: In a shocking lapse in police protocol, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Kamgar Sena Vice President Amit Matkar was allegedly threatened inside his Saat Rasta office by an undertrial accused. The accused, identified as Imran Khan, is currently lodged in Arthur Road Jail.
The incident took place while Khan was being escorted to court from jail. During the transfer, he allegedly managed to visit Matkar’s office and issue threats, causing a major uproar.
Following the incident, the Mumbai Police has initiated disciplinary action against the two escorting police responsible for Khan’s custody. Both are expected to be suspended pending inquiry.
