Mumbai Tragedy: Motorcycle Battery Explodes In Mumbra, Three Women Suffer 30% Burns | Representative, Pexels Image

Three women, including two daughters, suffered burn injuries after a motorcycle battery exploded inside a house in Mumbra on Sunday evening. The incident occurred in the ground-plus-five-storey Supreme Tower located in Almas Colony, Kausa, Mumbra, Thane.

The injured have been identified as Nusrat Sayyed (45), the mother, and her daughters Hafza Sayyed (24) and Afza Sayyed (18). They were inside their ground-floor home when the motorcycle battery exploded, triggering a fire that destroyed a washing machine, clothes, and electrical wiring.

The three women were rushed to a nearby private hospital and later referred to Wadia Hospital in Mumbai for further treatment. Authorities confirmed that the victims sustained facial and hand injuries, with burn wounds covering over 30 percent of their bodies.
