Palghar (Maharashtra), Jul 5: Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel in the district located and returned a bag containing Rs 3.2 lakh in cash to its owner who had forgotten it on a local train, officials said on Saturday.
Abhishek Shukla (30) left the bag behind while getting down from a Churchgate-bound train at Boisar railway station at around 8 am on Friday, said a GRP release.
He immediately called the police control room. GRP personnel at the Saphale railway station were alerted, and they managed to recover the bag when the train reached there.
