Mumbai News: Massive Fraud Uncovered At Reliance Smart Bazaar In Ghatkopar; Four Officials Booked

Mumbai: One crore fraud has been exposed at the Reliance Smart Bazaar store in Ghatkopar, where four store officials allegedly sold goods without authorization and misappropriated the proceeds. The Ghatkopar Police have registered a case against the accused.

The four accused have been identified as Shailesh Singh, Tejas Kauranne, Jagannath Sahu, and Sajjad Siddiqui.

According to the complaint, the officials illegally sold stock worth Rs. 1.19 crore between July 2023 and September 2024, without the company's knowledge or permission. The accused are alleged to have shared the money among themselves, thereby committing a major financial fraud against the company.

The Ghatkopar Police have initiated further investigation into the matter to uncover the full extent of the scam and determine if more individuals were involved.
