Mumbai News: CBI Successfully Coordinates Deportation Of Fake Currency Case Accused Moideenabba Ummer Beary From UAE Via INTERPOL
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully coordinated deportation of Moideenabba Ummer Beary from UAE through INTERPOL Channels. Moideenabba Ummer Beary is wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a case registered against him on the allegations of counterfeiting Indian currency notes, cheating, and criminal conspiracy.

Mumbai: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully coordinated deportation of Moideenabba Ummer Beary from UAE through INTERPOL Channels. Moideenabba Ummer Beary is wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a case registered against him on the allegations of counterfeiting Indian currency notes, cheating, and criminal conspiracy.
The International Police Cooperation Unit (IPCU), CBI in collaboration with authorities from Abu Dhabi, UAE successfully brought back wanted Red Notice subject Moideenabba Ummer Beary to India on Friday.
The wanted fugitive has returned as deportee at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai from Dubai, UAE. The subject was earlier geo-located in UAE through close follow up by CBI through INTERPOL with Abu Dhabi authorities.
"The accused is wanted by National Investigation Agency in a case registered at NIA, Kochi Branch on the allegations of counterfeiting Indian currency notes, cheating, and criminal conspiracy. The subject Moideenababa Ummer Beary alias Moideen had procured high quality Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) at Dubai, and transported the same to Bangalore via Sharjah," said a CBI official.
CBI got the Red Notice published against the accused on 30.12.2013 through INTERPOL on the request of NIA. The accused was arrested in UAE and Extradition Request was sent to UAE through MHA/MEA. Red Notices published by INTERPOL are circulated to all the Law Enforcement Agencies globally for tracking of the wanted fugitives.
