Mumbai News: BMC To Resume Water Supply From Repaired Powai Lake Gate; Boil Water Advisory Issued For L & S Wards From June 23

Mumbai: The BMC recently completed the repairs of compartment 2 of the Powai Lake and will resume the water supply from the gate on Monday, June 23. However, given the recent repairs, the BMC has urged the citizens of L and S wards to boil and filter the drinking water for the next three to four days, starting from Monday.

The affected areas are: L ward: Bareilly Masjid, 90 Feet Road Kurla-Andheri Road, Jarimari, Ghatkopar-Andheri Link Road, Savarkar Road, Mahatma Phule Nagar, Tanaji Nagar, Saki Vihar Road, Marwah Udyog Road, Satyanagar Pipeline Road. (Regular Water Supply Timings - 6.00 am to 2.00 pm).

Other affected areas in L ward are: Kajupada, Ganesh Maidan, Indiranagar, Sangam Vasahat, Shastrinagar, Ghas Compound, Christian Gaon, Masrani Galli, Ghazi Mia Darga Marg, A. H. Wadia Marg, Wadia Estate, M. N. Marg, Bull Bazar, Sandesh Nagar, Kranti Nagar, Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Marg, Kamani, Kalpana Cinema, Kismet Nagar, Gafoor Khan Estate, Sambhaji Chowk, New Mile Marg, Ramdas Chowk, Brahmin Wadi, Patel Wadi, Barve Marg, Buddha Colony, LIG, MIG Colony, Vinoba Bhave Nagar, HDIL Entire Complex, Naupada, Premier Colony, Sunderbagh, Shiv Hill, Sanjay Nagar, Kapadia Nagar, Rupa Nagar, Takiya Division, Match Factory Galli, Shivaji Kutir Galli, Taximan Colony, Maharashtra Kata. Areas affected in S ward are: Morarji Nagar, Bhimnagar, Paspoli Gavthan, Lok Vihar Colony, Renaissance Hotel Area (Regular Water Supply Time - 6.30 PM to 8.50 AM).
