Mumbai: Economic Offences Wing Seized ₹65 Lakh From Grant Road Showroom Locker In Torres Scam Probe
EOW has seized ₹5.98 crore in cash, ₹15.81 crore from various bank accounts linked to the company and its accused officials, and gold and silver jewelry valued at ₹2.70 crore. The total seized assets in the case now stand at ₹24.49 crore.

Mumbai: In the ongoing investigation into the Torres scam, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has seized ₹65 lakh from a locker in a showroom located at Dharam Palace, Grant Road. According to an EOW official, the number of complaints has now reached 5,300, with the total amount of alleged fraud exceeding ₹83 crore.
EOW officer told, Efforts are also underway to open lockers at the Torres showroom in Kandivali. However, police have faced significant challenges as two lockers at the Kandivali location remain sealed, preventing them from accessing and seizing the suspected cash stored inside.

Additionally, police have reportedly obtained travel records spanning the last six months to 1 year of three arrested and 11 wanted suspects involved in the case. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to identify the full extent of the scam and the locations of remaining assets.
