Mumbai: DRI Arrests Ivory Coast National With 67 Ingested Cocaine Capsules Worth ₹11.39 Crore

Mumbai: The DRI arrested an Ivory Coast national who ingested 67 cocaine capsules valued at Rs 11.39 crore. He arrived in Mumbai from Sierra Leone on June 19 and admitted to smuggling the drugs when questioned.
The man was hospitalised with court permission, where he purged 1,139 grams of cocaine. The drugs were seized under the NDPS Act, and an investigation is underway to identify the sender and intended recipient.
