Mumbai: A 32-year-old woman sustained injuries after being shot in the hand during an accidental firing incident in Mumbai's Dharavi area on Sunday night. The incident occurred while the woman was shopping along the 90 Feet Road stretch in Dharavi.

Accused Nabbed From Trombay, Weapon Seized

According to Shahunagar Police, the accused identified as Mohammad alias Ajju Yakub Sheikh (37), a resident of Trombay’s Chita Camp was arrested from his locality shortly after the incident. A country-made pistol was recovered from his possession.

Firing Was Accidental, Say Police
