Mumbai: The Wadala TT police have registered an FIR under Sections 74, 115(2), 352, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, in connection with an assault that took place on the evening of April 27, 2025, at 7:30 PM. The accused have been identified as Zahir Zuber Siddiqui (24) and Taqdeer Karamat Ali Siddiqui (40), both residents of Room No. 40, Himmat Nagar, Sangam Nagar, Wadala (East). In this case, a chargesheet was filed before the court within 12 hours.
Police recorded the detailed statement of the complainant, following which the FIR was registered on April 28, 2025, at 5:45 PM. A spot panchnama (site inspection) was conducted as part of the investigation. The accused were brought to the police station for questioning, during which their involvement in the crime was established. They were issued notices under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
