Mumbai Accident: Unidentified Pedestrian Killed In Sakinaka After Being Hit By Speeding Tempo; Driver Detained
An unidentified pedestrian, aged around 30 years, was killed after a speeding tempo hit him in Sakinaka on Friday. The offending driver, Hafiz Sayyid, took the victim to Rajawadi Hospital where he was declared dead.

Mumbai: An unidentified pedestrian, aged around 30 years, was killed after a speeding tempo hit him in Sakinaka on Friday. The offending driver, Hafiz Sayyid, took the victim to Rajawadi Hospital where he was declared dead.
According to the FIR, the incident took place on February 28 at 5.15pm when the victim was walking near Raigarh Express Logistics on 90 Feet Road in Sakinaka. The speeding tempo coming from Kajupada dashed the man, causing him to fall and sustain head injuries.
Eyewitness Usman Chaudhary, 22, raised an alarm, leading to the gathering of a crowd. Meanwhile, Sayyid placed the injured pedestrian into an auto-rickshaw and transported him to the hospital. However, he succumbed, said the police, adding that even the driver sustained minor injuries.
A police officer said, “We did not find any documents or even a phone on the victim's body. The tempo driver has been detained and his vehicle seized.”
