During a meeting to discuss the challenges faced by the stone quarrying industry, Minister Kadam instructed that:
- Uniform rules should be applied in Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts.
- The validity period of ownership documents and transportation passes for building stones should be extended.
- A time limit should be set for granting minor mineral permits to avoid transportation disruptions.
