Mumbai: "Late Yashwantrao Chavan taught us the politics of inclusion, and we are continuing on that path. We strive to live in harmony without any discrimination based on caste, religion, or sect. Just as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj built Hindavi Swarajya by uniting people from all castes, it is our responsibility to maintain communal harmony. People's issues must be resolved by immersing ourselves among them," said National President of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday.

Pawar said, "We need to build a new generation of party workers to strengthen the organization. We must seek blessings and guidance from our elders. In fact, the party itself was founded with the blessings of such seniors, and today it has completed 26 years."
He emphasised that development work happens not by opposing power but by being in power, and urged the party cadre to begin preparations for the upcoming local body elections. “Work in a way that brings success to the party without discrimination. Mistakes and unethical practices can harm the party's image,” he warned.
Pawar also cautioned party members to be mindful of their statements. “If you speak wrongly, it gets amplified by the media and social platforms. Social media has become very powerful today, so everyone must be conscious of their words and actions,” he said.
