Maharashtra News: Explosion At Imitation Jewellery Company In Vasai Claims 1 Life, Injures Another
According to the complaint filed by Hamiraram Laburam Devashi (41), a businessman residing in Vasai East, the incident took place at Gala No. 114, Manish 01, Navghar Road, Vasai East. A gas cylinder at the A.N. Jewelers imitation jewelry company reportedly developed a leak, leading to a blast.

Palghar, Maharashtra: A gas cylinder leakage leading to an explosion at an imitation jewelry company in Vasai East has resulted in one fatality and one injury. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, June 25.
The deceased has been identified as Motilal Jaggaram Devashi (22), and the injured as Ramesh Kumar Chaudhary. Both were admitted to a private hospital following the explosion.

Devashi and Chaudhary sustained injuries in the explosion and were initially admitted to Oasis Hospital in Evershine City, Vasai East, for treatment. However, due to the critical nature of his condition, Devashi was later shifted to Vedanta Multispeciality Hospital in Virar West. Tragically, he was declared dead by doctors while undergoing treatment.
Manikpur Police Station has registered an accidental death report under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023.
Further investigation into the exact cause of the gas cylinder leak and explosion is underway.
