Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane Assures Versova Fishermen Of Jetty Development And Market Facilities
The minister assured the fishermen that a plan is in place for the development of the Versova jetty and that it would be implemented soon. He also requested the fishermen to submit proposals regarding their various issues, which would be addressed accordingly.

Minister for Fisheries and Ports, Nitesh Rane, reviewed the Versova fishermen's jetty in Andheri and assessed the ongoing work. During the visit, he interacted with local fishermen and discussed their issues.
The minister assured the fishermen that a plan is in place for the development of the Versova jetty and that it would be implemented soon. He also requested the fishermen to submit proposals regarding their various issues, which would be addressed accordingly.

During the interaction, Minister Rane listened to the concerns of the local Koli community and had a positive discussion with them. He assured them that their demands, including the construction of sheds and cold storage facilities for the fish market, would be addressed at the earliest.
The minister's visit was attended by officials, including Fisheries Commissioner Kishor Tawde, and other prominent BJP leaders.
