International Women's Day 2025: NMMC To Host Competitions, Awards, And Free Stalls For Women In Navi Mumbai
The competitions are scheduled to be organised on March 4 and 5 respectively. The events to be conducted includes Group Singing Competition, Women’s Bhajan Mandal Competition, and Group Dance Competition, Group Drama Competition, Mangalagaur Competition.

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is conducting competitions and events on the occasion of the International women's day.
The day is to be celebrated on March 8 and the events to be conducted are planned by the Social Development Department.
The competitions are scheduled to be organised on March 4 and 5 respectively. The events to be conducted includes Group Singing Competition, Women’s Bhajan Mandal Competition, and Group Dance Competition, Group Drama Competition, Mangalagaur Competition
The preliminary rounds will be held at Mahatma Phule Smruti Bhavan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, starting at 9:00 a.m. " The final rounds and the prize distribution ceremony will take place on March 8, 2025, at Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium, Vashi, at 9:00 a.m," said an official.
Application forms for competitions, awards, and free stalls are available at all eight divisional offices and at the Social Development Department at the NMMC headquarters in Belapur. The last date to apply for competitions is March 3, 2025 and for free stalls is March 6, 2025.
As part of the celebrations, distinguished women from various fields within the municipal limits will be honored with awards for their achievements.
Additionally, free stalls will be provided to women, girls, self-help groups, women’s associations, and women’s organizations to showcase and sell their products. " Only those residing within the NMMC jurisdiction are eligible to apply," said the official.
NMMC will also be organising a Paithani Saree Lucky Draw for women present at the venue. Details regarding the program are made available at all the ward offices.
