Mumbai: In a significant step towards boosting Maharashtra's media and entertainment sector, the state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DNEG-Prime Focus Limited, a global leader in visual effects and post-production services on Friday.
The agreement, which was formalised during the WAVES 2025 summit, marks an investment of ₹3,000 crore and promises the creation of 2,500 direct jobs in the region. The announcement was shared by CM Devendra Fadnavis on X.
