Mumbai: The Amrit Mahotsav Rangmanch is a newly unveiled state-of-the-art open-air amphitheatre, envisioned as a vibrant hub for cultural expression and public engagement, including cultural programmes, academic gatherings, public addresses, and community interactions. Adjacent to it, a fully equipped auditorium will provide a modern indoor space for seminars, lectures, and performances.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the project on Sunday, laying the foundation stone in the presence of key dignitaries and local officials. A new chapter in Nagpur’s cultural and educational infrastructure began with the unveiling of the Amrit Mahotsav Rangmanch Amphitheatre and Auditorium at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
In an X post shared by the CM Fadnavis, he emphasised the importance of integrating culture and education, noting that such infrastructure promotes holistic development. Present at the event were Minister of State Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, Pravin Datke, Krishna Khopde, Kripal Tumane, Sandeep Joshi, and several other local leaders.
