Eknath Shinde Rushed To Thane's Jupiter Hospital Due To Deteriorating Health Condition Just 2 Days Before Swearing-In Ceremony

Maharashtra Caretaker CM Eknath Shinde was rushed to Jupiter Hospital, in Thane on Tuesday. The Shiv Sena chief was admitted to the medical facility after his health condition showed no sign of improvement. Doctors have advised the full examination of his health, as per a report by ANI quoting sources.
However, as per a video that has gone viral on the internet, the caretaker CM mentioned that his health is in great condition. On being asked about his health condition, Eknath Shinde said "Badhiya hai."
Shinde's health deteriorated earlier last week during his recent visit to his native village in Satara. The Shiv Sena chief suffered from fever, cold and a throat infection and was under medical observation. His family doctor later informed the media about his health condition confirming that Shinde was recovering well. Shinde returned to Mumbai from Satara on Sunday.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway at Azad Maidan for the swearing-in ceremony of Maharashtra's new Mahayuti government on December 5, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to attend. While BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is seen as a likely candidate for the chief minister’s post, no official announcement has been made yet. The BJP legislature party will meet on December 4 to decide.
Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule, overseeing the event, visited the venue on Monday. Invitations have been extended to Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states, central ministers, governors, and key BJP leaders. According to sources, religious leaders, artists, and writers from across Maharashtra will also attend.
A meeting to finalize arrangements took place today, led by Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar, legislative council leader Pravin Darekar and others. BJP leaders stress that the event will highlight the unity of the Mahayuti alliance and celebrate Maharashtra's cultural diversity.
