MP CM Mohan Yadav Invites Japanese Carmaker Toyota To Invest In State, Senior Leadership To GIS '25
Toyota’s senior leadership, including Toshiyuki Nakahara, Department General Manager of Administration and Support for India and the Middle East, and Masahiro Nogi, Project General Manager, met with Yadav to discuss the company's operations and potential trade collaborations in the region.

Tokyo (Japan): Madhya Pradesh is positioning itself as an attractive destination for Toyota to establish facilities and invest in youth skill development, said Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday during his visit in Tokyo, Japan. Highlighting the state’s investor-friendly policies, skilled manpower, and robust infrastructure, Yadav invited the Japanese automaker, Toyota to explore vast investment opportunities during the upcoming Global Investor Summit.

During his ongoing visit to Japan, Yadav underscored Madhya Pradesh’s strategic advantages, including its central location, which provides easy access to major markets. He pointed to the state’s growing automobile sector, the Pithampur Auto Cluster, and existing players like Volvo and Mahindra leveraging these benefits. He also highlighted the state's robust workforce pipeline, supported by 52 private and 17 government engineering colleges producing around 50,000 skilled graduates annually.
Toyota representatives acknowledged Madhya Pradesh’s potential, referencing the Toyota Technical Education Program aimed at skilling local youth. They expressed interest in contributing to the state’s economic growth and integrating with its evolving automotive ecosystem.
