'We're Coming': Rock Band Guns N' Roses To Return To India After 12 Years; Band To Perform On This Date & Venue

Legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses is set to perform in Mumbai on May 17, 2025, at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. This marks their much-anticipated return to India after their last performances in Bengaluru and Mumbai back in 2012. The upcoming concert is part of their extensive world tour, which kicks off in South Korea before making its way to India as the third stop on their itinerary.

Following their Mumbai show, the band will continue to perform across the Middle East, Europe, and major festivals, including Wacken Open Air in Germany in July 2025.

Fans eager to catch the legendary band live can purchase general tickets starting from ₹4,499 when sales open on March 19, 2025, at 4 PM IST via BookMyShow. An exclusive presale for Kotak Mahindra Bank customers will be available two days earlier on May 17, 2025, at 12 PM IST on the same platform.

The band express their excitement

Announcing the Mumbai concert on social media, the band expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “We’re comin’ to India! This is going to be special.” With an extensive catalog of timeless hits, including “November Rain,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” and their classic rendition of “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” the band promises an electrifying experience for fans old and new.

This upcoming performance reignites the band’s connection with Indian audiences. Back in 2012, frontman Axl Rose and his touring lineup delivered powerful performances in Bengaluru and Mumbai. Notably, lead guitarist Slash had been absent from the band since 1996 but reunited with Guns N’ Roses in 2016. Prior to rejoining, he had visited India in 2015 with his group Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, headlining the MTV Indies Xtreme festival in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Before this upcoming show, Guns N’ Roses had an indirect connection with India in 2023 when Bengaluru-based heavy metal band Girish And The Chronicles had the honor of opening for them in Abu Dhabi. This highlights the influence and reach of Guns N’ Roses beyond Western rock circles.
