Every year, thousands of devotees undertake this spiritual journey to seek blessings from Lord Shiva, whose naturally formed ice Shivling is worshipped in the Amarnath Temple located in Jammu and Kashmir. With the start of the yatra, the first aarti of Baba Barfani was performed this morning with the chanting of mantras. Baba Barfani's first aarti

The first batch of pilgrims for the Shri Amarnath Yatra departed from Jammu on Wednesday morning. Following a ritualistic worship ceremony, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha officially sent off the pilgrims, accompanied by the sound of conch shells and the chanting of "Har Har Mahadev." Devotees have already arrived for the pilgrimage and participated in the first aarti of Baba Barfani. The news agency ANI has shared the video on X (formerly Twitter) and captioned, " First Aarti of Baba Barfani from the Holy Amarnath Cave. (Video Source: Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board)." Pilgrims sang enchanted hymns as they reached the holy Amarnath cave in Jammu and Kashmir.
