The wait is over! Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand has been crowned the Miss World 2025 at a grand finale held in Hyderabad, India, on May 31, 2025. The 72nd edition of the iconic pageant took place at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, bringing together 108 contestants from around the globe.

Thailand shines on the global stage
The 23-year-old Opal captured the coveted crown with her powerful presence, heartfelt advocacy, and inspiring journey. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admassu secured the runner-up position. The crown was handed over by reigning queen Krystyna Pyszková, as a proud moment unfolded for Thailand on the world stage.

Quirky and endearing, Opal is also known for her unique talent of playing the ukulele backwards and lives with an adorable menagerie, 16 cats and five dogs!
