Bollywood star Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, who has never acted in films or lent her voice to songs, has now found a fresh way to connect with the public. On August 15, she officially launched her very own YouTube channel named Sunita Ahuja, stepping into the world of digital content creation.

Her debut video, titled “Ab Main Paise Chapugi (Now, I will mint some money),” quickly went viral, gaining over 500,000 views in under 24 hours. Within the first 22 hours of launch, the channel had already attracted 42,000 subscribers, marking a strong start for Sunita. In the video, she takes viewers along to a temple visit accompanied by her staff member, Mukesh, who now seems to have earned a special place in her content. Though in her vlog, she said Mukesh is like a son to her and he is not a staff. She also mentioned Mukesh has been assisting her since he was 14 years old.

Many social media users drew comparisons between Sunita’s vlogs and those of filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, who regularly posts light-hearted weekly vlogs featuring her cook Dilip. Some critics even called Sunita a “copycat version” of Farah, with comments like “Sasti copy of Farah Khan” appearing under the video. Another user also commented, "Mukesh is the new Dilip".

The caption not only played on her real-life identity as Govinda’s wife but also echoed the title of his 1999 blockbuster film Biwi No.1.

While some netizens criticised the resemblance to Farah Khan’s format, others showered Sunita with love and encouragement. Comments praised her as a “pure soul” and appreciated her blunt honesty, which they claimed set her apart from the diplomatic nature often associated with Govinda.
