In a moment straight out of a fairytale, Princess Diana's lookalike niece, Lady Eliza Spencer, is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend Channing Millerd, and the internet can’t get enough of the dreamy Greek backdrop. The 33-year-old took to Instagram to share the news, melting hearts with a picture-perfect proposal set against the sun-drenched cliffs of Santorini.

Wearing a radiant smile and flashing a dazzling diamond ring, Eliza shared a carousel of photos from the magical evening. Her boyfriend, South African entrepreneur Millerd, popped the question at an intimate candlelit table overlooking the Aegean Sea. One of the photos shows Millerd down on one knee, while another captures the newly engaged couple basking in post-proposal bliss.

"Forever and Ever," Eliza simply captioned the post, alongside a red heart emoji.

She and Millerd have been reportedly together since 2016, and their engagement was met with warm wishes from fans and friends around the world.

Lady Eliza is the daughter of Earl Charles Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana. Royal watchers have often noted her resemblance to her iconic aunt.

Dreamy destination wedding awaits

The couple already have wedding plans on their minds. In a past interview with Hello! Magazine, Eliza hinted at their vision for the big day: "We love the idea of a destination wedding," she said, revealing their desire to marry somewhere oceanside.

"Italy feels so romantic to us… Spain has that same coastal charm we adore. At the same time, Amelia and Greg's wedding in Cape Town was unforgettable, and South Africa will always be home," she expressed.

Eliza follows in the footsteps of her siblings. Her twin sister, Lady Amelia Spencer, married Greg Mallett in a grand 2023 ceremony in Cape Town. Their elder sister, Lady Kitty Spencer, wed billionaire Michael Lewis in 2021. Interestingly, Eliza’s younger brother Louis, Viscount Althorp, is heir to the Spencer family’s Althorp estate, Princess Diana's childhood home.
