The event not only saw the presence of several notable figures from the political and academic realms but also marked the first public appearance of his wife, AS Khan

Popular educator and internet sensation Khan Sir recently celebrated his wedding with a grand reception in Patna on June 2, which created a buzz across social media. The event not only saw the presence of several notable figures from the political and academic realms but also marked the first public appearance of his wife, AS Khan, a government officer from Siwan, Bihar.
A star-studded affair
The lavish reception drew a significant crowd and was attended by prominent guests including Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. Khan Sir, known for his massive YouTube following and relatable teaching style, had tied the knot in a private ceremony in May, keeping the nuptials low-key due to ongoing geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan at the time. He later shared news of his wedding during one of his online classes, endearing him further to his student fanbase.
Bride AS Khan dazzles in traditional red lehenga
All eyes were on the bride, AS Khan, who captivated attendees with her elegant and traditional bridal attire. Her deep red lehenga, rich in heritage design, featured heavy gold zardozi embroidery, shimmering sequin work, and intricate gold jaal patterns. The bridal ensemble included a half-sleeved blouse with a round neckline, a tailored cropped hem, and a floor-length A-line lehenga skirt that added grandeur to the look.
She draped two dupattas-one like a saree pallu and another as a veil that gracefully covered most of her face. Both drapes were embellished with gold threadwork, sequins, and finely detailed borders, adding layers of regal sophistication.
Traditional jewellry and bridal makeup
AS Khan accessorised her wedding look with stunning traditional gold jewellery. Her set included layered gold necklaces, gold kadhas, a nath (nose ring), a pasa (side head ornament), a mang tikka, and statement rings adorning both hands. Her makeup was radiant and festive, with bright red lips, flushed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones, and darkened brows. She wore her hair parted down the middle, styled with sindoor, symbolising her newlywed status.
Khan sir’s sophisticated groom look
Khan Sir perfectly complemented his bride in a stylish brown three-piece suit. He wore a notch-lapel blazer with tailored trousers and a brocade embroidered waistcoat underneath. His look was rounded off with a maroon silk tie, matching pocket square, blush pink shirt, and formal dress shoes, striking the right balance between traditional charm and contemporary elegance.
