The Cannes 2025 just got steamier! Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is proving she's here to serve real fashion, and her latest look is all the proof we need. After channelling her late mother Sridevi's energy in Tarun Tahiliani and making headlines in a backless Anamika Khanna gown, the Gen-Z star is back in the French Riviera, this time in a "dripping saree" look.

Janhvi Kapoor's 'dripping saree' moment
For her newest couture moment, Janhvi slipped into a custom white saree by London-based label Dipetsa, famously known for its "wet look" aesthetic. Draped to resemble fabric soaked in water, the saree hugged her silhouette like a second skin, giving off a perfect mermaid-core energy. The stunning sarre was paired with a modern off-shoulder blouse, making it one of her most daring Cannes looks to date.

Adding a striking contrast to the all-white ensemble was her jewellery by Chopard. Janhvi paired her look with a vibrant lavender choker adorned with statement emeralds and diamonds. The bold piece was complemented by matching stud earrings that further elevated her look.
Her makeup clearly matched the vibe with a glossy and glowing glam. She painted her face with a radiant dewy base, wet-effect shimmer on the eyes, and nude glossy lips. Her hair was slicked back into a centre-parted bun with a few strands styled in a wet finish, staying true to the overall drenched theme.
