"Why would someone in sane mind think of taking such stupid decisions? You see the flow of the water? The height of this falls is something which will kill you before you even hit the bottom if you fall from the top," Mischief Treks stated on the post.
The community page also called out irresponsible behaviour, warning that such acts often lead to bans at beautiful natural sites.
The handle further stated, "These people are one of the reason why authorities ban locations, do not risk things, take well thought decisions. By God's grace this man was saved by the rescue team but not everyone gets this lucky.”

They concluded with praise for the rescuers, "Salute to the rescue team for their selfless efforts, they risky their lives to Save others ❤️ This man would've been not there today if they wouldn't have reached there to save him."
Precautions to take while trekking this monsoon
Mischief Treks also urged all nature lovers to treat trekking with the seriousness it demands:
Never trek without a professional team or guide.
Avoid treating treks like casual picnics. Trekking is an adventure sport with real risks.
Stay sober. Alcohol increases the risk of fatal slips and falls.
Respect weather warnings and trail conditions.
Inform your family or friends about your trekking plans.
Avoid standing near slippery or dangerous edges.
As monsoon treks become increasingly popular across Maharashtra, incidents like this are a reminder that nature is both beautiful and unpredictable. Planning ahead, staying sober, and trekking responsibly can make all the difference between a memorable adventure and a tragedy.
