Ujjain Collector Among 9 IAS Officers Shifted; Indore Collector Gets Simhastha Charge

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle on Sunday, the state government transferred nine IAS officers, including four district collectors. Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh has been relieved of his post and appointed as Director (Project) in the Public Health and Family Welfare Department.

Sources said that the transfer is linked to a recent controversy.Indore Collector Asheesh Singh has been given the additional responsibility of "Mela Adhikari for the upcoming Ujjain Simhastha.

Meanwhile, Vidisha Collector Roshan Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new Collector of Ujjain.

Ansul Gupta, previously serving as Director of Public Relations, has been posted as the Collector of Vidisha.

Basant Kurre, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, has been shifted to the Labour Department as Additional Secretary Subash Kumar Dwivedi, Collector of Ashok Nagar, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department.

Aditya Singh, who was the Collector of Harda, will now take over as the new Collector of Ashok Nagar.

Sidharth Jain, Additional Collector of Bhopal, has been appointed as Collector of Harda.

In another change, Jyoti Sharma, Additional Collector of Indore district has been made Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dewas District Panchayat, while Himansu Prajapati, current CEO of Dewas District Panchayat, has been posted as CEO of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation

Moreover, Gulshan Bamra, Principal Secretary of the Tribal Department, has been assigned the additional charge of CEO at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis.

Rishi Garg, Member Secretary of the State Planning Commission, has also been given the additional charge of Director at the same institute.
