Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On the eve of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav unveiled a life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda at Kalariya village in the district on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, the CM said that Swami Vivekananda's life will always be a source of inspiration.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are being realised. The event was attended by Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Rajya Sabha MP Kavita Patidar, MLA Madhu Verma, MLA Golu Shukla, Ramesh Mendola, and other public representatives. In his address, CM highlighted Swami Vivekananda's dedication to understanding the plight of the nation.
He reiterated that serving humanity is akin to serving God and urged citizens to contribute to the nation's progress through service. MLA Madhu Verma praised CM Yadav for his continuous support in approving development works in the Rau constituency, mentioning the progress made in Kalariya village, including the adoption of solar energy in many homes.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Vivekananda will be celebrated as Youth Day on Sunday, with a series of programmes, including a grand and mass Surya Namaskar session in schools.
The main district-level event will take place from 8:30 am to 10:45 am at the RAPTC Ground, Mahesh Guard Line. During the event, a recorded audio of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and a special message from Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will be played.
Preparations for the event have been completed, and around 4,000 students, teachers, and other participants are expected to join. Various organisations, including the District Yoga Committee, Sahaja Yoga Centre, Arogya Bharti, Prajapati Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Yoga Association Indore, NCC, Scout Guide, Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Art of Living Institute, Vivekananda Centre, Arya Samaj, and several others will actively participate.
The event will also see involvement from non- governmental institutions, local bodies, sports clubs, retired soldiers, morning walkers, gymnasiums, health clubs, and more. The celebration aims to inspire youth and honour Swami Vivekananda’s contributions to society.
