Sendhwa (Madhya Pradesh): Workers and representatives of local MLA Montu Solanki gave a letter to Panchayat and Rural Development minister Prahlad Patel demanding action against former janpad panchayat CEO and an accountant for burning important documents at Sendhwa janpad panchayat office on April 22.

MLA Montu Solanki has already raised this issue in the Assembly and filed complaints with senior officials. However, no action has been taken against janpad panchayat accountant Rakesh Pawar and the former chief executive officer who were allegedly involved in burning the files.
In his letter, MLA Solanki explained that on April 22, important documents and vouchers from previous years were deliberately set on fire at janpad panchayat Sendhwa. He informed the district collector through a letter dated May 12, but no action was taken.
Minister visits river origin site
Minister Patel also offer prayers at Goi river's starting point. At 2 pm, the minister reached the river's origin in Dhavda village. He performed abhishek and offered sriphal to the river.
Minister Patel shared that he has now worshipped at 91 river origins, including 90 during his Narmada walk. He noticed that tribal communities live near these water sources everywhere he visited.
The minister stressed that protecting small rivers and their starting points is needed to save bigger rivers. He saw that the hilly area around the origin lacks trees and asked people to plant more.
Local villagers asked for a pond to be built near the origin. The minister told officials to start pond work on government land after the rainy season ends. Later, at 3:30 pm, he attended a meeting with local leaders at Lions Community Hall in Sendhwa.
