Indore (Madhya Pradesh): During the Eid-ul-Azha sermon at Sadar Bazar Eidgah, city qazi Dr Mohammad Ishrat Ali addressed the community before leading the prayers.
He strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and lauded the Indian Army’s prompt and powerful response. “Pakistan needed to be taught a lesson. Our Army’s bravery deserves national applause,” he said, adding that India is no longer one to tolerate threats or cowardly acts.
He criticised Pakistan’s “double-faced” policy on Kashmir and emphasised that the nation stands united behind its soldiers. Shifting focus to environmental concerns, he appealed to people to plant trees, avoid cutting greenery in the name of development and conserve rainwater through recharge techniques.
