MP: Navodaya Alumni Set World Record; 'Navotsav 3.0' Attracts 8,635 Former Students Across India
Former students from across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, North-Eastern and South Indian states, participated in the meet.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Alumni Meet, 'Navotsav 3.0', held on Sunday, in which 8,635 alumni from 1987 till date participated. This is claimed to be the country's largest alumni meet so far.
A team of World Book of Excellence, UK monitored the event and provided a provisional certificate. Former students from across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, North-Eastern and South Indian states, participated in the meet.
The event was marked by various programmes, including blood donation camp, health check-up, kids zone and panel discussion. The alumni who participated in the meet are now MPs, IAS, IPS, doctors, teachers, CAs, businessmen or other professionals.
Registrations were made for the 'world record' for this largest alumni meet in the country. A website was created and JNV alumni registered in it. After registering on the website, they were given a QR code. Meet entry was given through this.
The event was organised by Madhya Pradesh Alumni Association of Navodaya (Maan). The organising team made special arrangements for the alumni to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.
