MP Metro MD Reviews Priority Corridor Progress, Urges Timely Completion Of Key Projects

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Managing director, Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation took the progress report of the construction work going on the entire priority corridor including Indore Metro Super Priority Corridor and did a field inspection.

Managing director S Krishna Chaitanya directed all contractors associated with the project to prepare the final list of the remaining work and prepare the report on daily basis so that all preparations and work can be completed on time.

He also gave instructions to complete the work of Entry-Exit gate being constructed from ISBT Metro Station towards Bus Stand through Foot Over Bridge (FoB) under Metro Multi Modal Transport Connectivity at ISBT Metro Station as soon as possible. Starting the site inspection from Gandhi Nagar Depot, he inspected the construction work and system work going on in the final phase in the administrative building and directed to complete the remaining work with full specification. He learned about the progress of OCC building, conference hall and other important structures of the administrative building.

While inspecting various units of the administrative building, he also inquired about the specific work places of different teams and the equipment with state-of-the-art technology for metro operation. He inspected the major components like civil, system, rolling stock, traffic, signalling etc.

While inspecting the minute aspects of the construction work on the spot, he directed to prepare the proposed route (Gandhi Nagar to SC-3 station) to be started first as per the standards of CRMS. Along with this, instructions were also given to complete both the civil and system construction works from SC-3 station to Malviya Nagar station (Radisson Square) on time.
