Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder: Raja Raghuvanshi's Brother Vipin Performs 'Shanti Puja' At Shillong Murder Site For Peace & Salvation Of Lost Soul
Vipin prepares documents to cancel bail of Shilom James.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): After the cold-blooded murder of Indore's Raja Raghuvanshi during his honeymoon in Shillong, his brother reached the accident site and performed rituals for the peace of the lost soul. Brother Vipin Raghuvanshi was accompanied by a pandit for shanti puja.
Notably, the Meghalaya government has completely sealed the area and banned the entry of visitors after the horrific murder case. Vipin requested special permission for the rituals from the administration for the salvation of his brother's soul.
The administration gave him the permission and sent a police team with him.
Vipin said that when he reached Sohra-- the site in Shillong where his brother was murdered—he was told that the area was completely sealed. He contacted the administrative officials and told them about his desire for a 'puja' for the peace and salvation of his brother Raja.
The officials asked him to submit an application, which was shortly approved by the Deputy Collector.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Vipin contacted lawyer Sudeep K. Dev in Shillong and prepared the necessary documents to cancel the bail of Shilom James, one of the main accused in the murder case, who allegedly helped Raja's wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, in concealing the evidence.
An appeal was filed in the Meghalaya High Court on Saturday to reject Shilom's bail plea.
The Deadly Honeymoon
Notably, Raja Raghuvanshi tied the knot with Sonam Raghuvanshi on May 11. The couple left for their honeymoon in Shillong a week later. Soon, the duo went missing. Raja's body was recovered from a deep gorge in Sohra, while Sonam could not be traced.
It was after intensive police investigation that Sonam and his aides were caught. Police revealed Sonam, along with her boyfriend Raj Kushwaha and other aides, planned and executed Raja's murder.
