Major Breakthrough In Dhar Murder Case: Elder Brother Turns Out To Be Accused, Kills Sibling Over Land Dispute | FPJ
Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Police claimed to have cracked a blind murder case in Manawar where a brother allegedly orchestrated the murder of his sibling over a mere one-and-a-half bigha land.
As per police, on April 23, the body of Gal Singh was discovered near the Narmada River, but initial investigations failed to identify him, leading to a burial.
It wasn't until his family identified a silver ring that the police exhumed the body for further examination.
Subsequent investigations revealed that Chotu Singh, Gal's elder brother, had hired criminals for Rs 2.5 lakhs to murder his brother following a year-long dispute over property.
Chotu's anger stemmed from Gal registering the land and house in his name. To execute the crime, a woman named Sapna lured Gal under the pretence of love, intoxicating him before leading him to a secluded area where accomplices awaited.
They strangled him and disposed of his body in the river. Incidentally, murderers got only Rs 25,000 for the crime even though they were promised Rs 2.5 lakh. Currently, police have arrested seven suspects, while two remain at large. The victim's wife has fled her home in fear.
