Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has released the official schedule for admission to MBA, BBA and BCA courses for the academic session 2025-26. The admission process for all three programmes will kick off on June 16, marking the beginning of a centralised online counselling.

//MBA Admissions: Three rounds, beginning with CMAT-based selection

According to DTE’s notification, the MBA admission process will begin with registrations from June 16 to June 29, based on CMAT scores. Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their applications from June 30 to July 1.

Students can select their preferred institutions between June 18 and July 3, followed by the release of the common merit list on July 4. The window to submit fees at the allotted colleges will remain open from July 9 to 14.

The second round, open to candidates applying through CMAT and qualifying marks, will allow registrations from July 10 to 19 and choice filling from July 15 to 23. The merit list for this round will be released on July 24, with fee submission scheduled between July 18 and August 1.

The third and final round will be a College-Level Counseling (CLC) round for students not selected in the first two rounds. However, online registration is still mandatory, which must be completed between August 2 and 5. The list of selected candidates will be displayed directly at the colleges on August 6.

BBA, BCA admissions under DTE

In a first, DTE will also conduct centralised counselling for BBA and BCA courses this year. The registration process starts on June 16 and will run until July 1 for the first round. Candidates can submit their college choices from June 20 to July 5, and the common merit list will be published on July 4. Document and fee submission will take place between July 11 and 16.

The second round of BBA/BCA counseling will open on July 6, with registrations accepted until July 17. Online choice filling will be available from July 11 to 21, followed by the release of the merit list on July 22. Candidates must submit documents and fees between July 26 and 31.

For those who miss the earlier rounds, direct admissions in the third round will also be available. However, students must register online between August 2 and 5, with the final admission list to be displayed in colleges on August 6.

Advisory from Colleges

Alexia College director Ashish Tiwari urged students to thoroughly read the detailed guidelines issued by DTE, especially those applying for BBA and BCA, since this is the first time DTE is handling these programs.

"Each step of the admission process, including specializations, college preferences and document submission, must be followed carefully to avoid last-minute issues," Arihant College CEO Kavita Kasliwal said.
