Madhya Pradesh: Man, His Mother Killed In Smash-Up With Goods Carrier In Dhar | Representational Image
Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A man and his mother were killed when a goods carrier hit their motorcycle here on Sunday afternoon. The accident took place at Rantlaav Phata in Singhana area.
As per reports, Ravi Bhavasiya, 37, and his mother Jhumkibai, 50, were going to attend a family function in Nanod village near Kukshi. On the way, a goods carrier collided with their motorcycle.
Both victims suffered serious injuries in the smash-up. The goods vehicle also turned over. This vehicle was carrying empty fruit boxes at the time of the accident.
Ravi worked as a farm labourer in Karoli village to support his family. He had bought the motorcycle just one month before the accident. He leaves behind two young children – a son and a daughter.
Singhana police quickly reached the accident spot. They took both bodies to Manawar Civil Hospital where doctors performed a post-mortem examination at 4 PM to find the cause of death.
The driver of the goods vehicle and another person with him were hurt in the crash. They were sent to Barwani hospital for medical treatment. The family performed the last rites of both mother and son at 6 PM on the same day.
