Madhya Pradesh: Bhikangaon Janpad Vice President Writes To CEO After Corruption Case Comes To Light | FPJ
Bhikangaon (Madhya Pradesh): Bhikangaon Janpad Panchayat vice president Dinesh Kumar Jaiswal has written to the Janpad Panchayat CEO demanding a strict investigation and action into the recent corruption case reported in the town.
His complaint highlights eight major scams.
Following this, a team has already inspected the works, and further action is awaited.
According to Jaiswal, the construction of a well sanctioned in the name of beneficiary Suresh was never started. Similarly, the Panchayat’s Gaushala pipeline exists only on paper.
Funds allocated under MNREGA for beneficiary Ravi Solanki were credited only partially to his account. Wages for constructing the boundary wall were deposited into incorrect accounts instead of the actual beneficiaries.
The letter also revealed that funds withdrawn for Panchayat Bhawan construction were misused, as no building was constructed.
Payments under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana were made to ineligible beneficiaries, leaving eligible families still waiting for homes.
Jaiswal further alleged that funds are being withdrawn openly while projects remain incomplete. He cited the case of a well sanctioned in Sitabai’s name, where even the muster roll was not issued, yet the funds were siphoned off.
APO Subhash Sahite of Bhikangaon confirmed receiving the complaint and assured that investigations have been conducted and action will follow soon.
