Indore: Women Apply Blood Tilak To Soldiers During Sindoor Shourya Yatra |
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Thousands of women of the city exhibited a unique example of respect for the brave Indian Army, for carrying out ‘Operation Sindoor’ successfully, by taking-out ‘Sindoor Shourya Yatra’ in the city on Monday.
Girls and women were holding the Tricolour in their hands and were dressed like icons of the freedom struggle and warriors of the previous wars.
'Sindoor Shaurya Yatra' was organised by ‘Maa Ahilya Manch’. The Yatra started from the statue of Devi Ahilyabai at Rajwada and ended before the statue of Netaji Subhaschandra Bose, located at Bada Ganesh square.

The entire route resonated with slogans of patriotism and valour of the army. The women participating in the Yatra honoured the families of the soldiers and applied blood tilak on their forehead before the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Dr Mala Thakur, a senior leader of VHP, addressing the gathering said that today the whole world is resonating with the valour and courage of the Indian Army. We are proud of our army.
Kirti Tiwari, Adv. Swati Ukhale, Anita Raghuvanshi, Chhaya Kuvade, Jyoti Rathore, Hina Neema, Aarti Jaiswal, Adv. Geetanjali Chaurasia, Sandhya Soni, Vandana Mahor expressed their gratitude to the heroes engaged in protecting the country by applying tilak with their blood.
