Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The leaders of small pharmaceutical units have urged Union Minister for Health , Chemical & Fertilizer JP Nadda that a Drug Tribunal Board should be constituted.
They also requested for the removal of hurdles in medicine exports to 183 countries. Various issues of the sector were also discussed in length and instructed authorities to look after immediately.
The leaders of the pharmaceutical units met Union Minister Nadda under the aegis of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) at his residence in New Delhi. The team LUB was represented by All india president Ghanshyam ojha, All India general secretary Omprakash Gupta, All India head Pharma wing Dr Rajesh Gupta, Maharashtra pharma wing head Dr Ravleen khurana, Madhya pradesh pharma wing head Amit chawla, importers from chemical and textiles induries were also present.

Concerns were expressed about good quality products (97.3%) not being appreciated, while 2.64% NSQ products are targeted through risk-based inspections and closures.
