Indore: Mock Bomb Disposal Drill Conducted at HPCL Depot to Strengthen Security Parameters | FPJ
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A live exercise was conducted by Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and police at HPCL depot on Tuesday to check what should be the security parameters in case of any emergency situation/unclaimed (explosive) object being found.
Keeping in view the various events in the city, Indore Police are checking and inspecting the security arrangements of important places in the city and also taking stock of the security preparations of the police administration and institutions in case of emergency.
Under the guidance of DCP (Intelligence and Security) Ankit Soni, the security branch of Police and BDDS team conducted a mock drill to see how better security arrangements can be made to deal with any emergency situation at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Mangalia Depot.
In this drill, ACP (Security) Anil Kumar Mandrah and BDDS incharge, the police and BDDS team, along with the force of the local police station, as well as the staff of the depot, conducted a live drill on how to act in case of any emergency situation/unclaimed object (containing explosive material) and how to take care of the safety of the public.
