Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The direct flight from Indore to Jammu is set to restart in October.

This flight was stopped during Operation Sindoor and has remained suspended until now. Airline company IndiGo has now reopened bookings for this route.

Flights to Nasik, Udaipur, Jodhpur to stop from August

While the Indore-Jammu flight is being relaunched, three other direct flights from Indore are being discontinued. From August 1, Nasik, Udaipur, and Jodhpur flights will no longer operate. These routes were also being run by IndiGo, and bookings for them have already been stopped.

Earlier, the airline had stopped flights to Kolkata and Jammu as well. Now, passengers traveling to these cities will have to take connecting flights, increasing both travel time and costs.

Before this, from July 1, IndiGo had also discontinued one flight each to Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

Jodhpur Flight (6E-7358/7359):
Departure – 10:40 AM from Indore, Arrival – 12:20 PM in Jodhpur
Return – 12:45 PM from Jodhpur, Arrival – 1:15 PM in Indore

Udaipur Flight (6E-7348/7424):
Departure – 2:40 PM from Indore, Arrival – 3:40 PM in Udaipur

Passengers are advised to check schedules and plan their travel accordingly.

With the restart of this flight, people traveling from MP to Vaishno Devi and Kashmir will get direct air connectivity. The flight will operate three times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

According to Indore airport sources, flight number 6E 959 will depart from Indore at 9:10 AM and land in Jammu at 11:20 AM. The return flight, 6E 6738, will take off from Jammu at 11:50 AM and land in Indore at 2:05 PM.

IndiGo will use an Airbus A320 aircraft for this route. The A320 is a single-aisle plane, ideal for short and medium-distance travel, and can carry 150 to 180 passengers.

The booking for the Indore-Jammu flight is open in three fare categories:

Saver Fare – ₹8,353
