Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking case of theft came to light in Indore, where a domestic help absconded with ₹7 lakhs on the first day of her job. Later, she bought a bike for boyfriend and shopped expensive cosmetics for herself.
The dramatic incident unfolded in Vidyanagar, where a complainant identified as Lalit Shivani told the police, that a young woman posing as a domestic worker came into his house under the pretext of seeking job.
Woman buys bullet for boyfriend
On her first day of job, she found the locker's key and decamped with ₹7 lakhs. The girl later bought a Bullet (Bike) for her lover and spent a lot of money on makeup, utensils, clothes, etc.
Accused detained from Rajasthan
Bhanwarkuan police acting on a CCTV footage, police traced the accused in Rajasthan. The accused has been identified as Lata Keer, resident of Bhiluri in Rajasthan, Raghav Kewat and Mahendra Kewat resident Jalra Udaipur on Thursday.
According to Additional DCP Zone-4 Anand Yadav, Lalit Ajay Kumar Shivani, a resident of Vidyanagar, had lodged a theft report on June 25. Lalit has a restaurant in Vijaynagar area.
