Indore: DAVV Crowned Overall Champion At Yuvan 2024-25 State Youth Festival
The event, which culminated in a closing ceremony held on Wednesday, celebrated the creativity and talent of students from various universities. DAVV stood out with an impressive performance winning 14 disciplines and securing second place in two others.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has emerged as the overall champion at the much-anticipated state-level youth festival, Yuvan 2024-25, organised on the UTD campus in the city. The three-day festival saw participants from 12 universities from across the state showcasing their talent in 22 diverse cultural disciplines.
The event, which culminated in a closing ceremony held on Wednesday, celebrated the creativity and talent of students from various universities. DAVV stood out with an impressive performance winning 14 disciplines and securing second place in two others. This led to DAVV being crowned as the overall champion of the festival. Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University (RMTU), Gwalior, took the runner-up position with achievements including first place in one discipline and a string of second and third-place finishes across various genres.
Winners
--- Theatrical Genres: DAVV dominated the acting categories securing first place in Mimicry, Comedy Drama (Skit) and One Act Play.
--- Music Genres: DAVV also excelled in music, claiming first in Classical Solo Instrumental Percussion, Solo Singing Sugam and Solo Singing Classical.
--- Literary Genres: In debates and literary events, DAVV triumphed securing first place in both Debate and Offering.
--- Dance and Painting: While DAVV impressed in multiple visual arts categories, including On the Spot Painting and Clay Modeling, RMTU claimed first in Group Folk Dance.
